Horncastle Education TrustCoronation Badge Designed by QEGS Student
Matilda Bush, student at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, designed a badge for Horncastle Town Council’s coronation celebrations.
The King’s Champion Francis Dymoke, who lives locally, wore the badge designed by Matilda at the coronation on 6th May 2023. Champion Francis Dymoke walked in the coronation procession and carried the Royal Standard into Westminster Abbey.
The badges were also given to every student at QEGS.
